We are hoping that the Family School can get government funding under the 'Free Schools Initiative', which would mean we wouldn't have to charge fees, would be able to fund a better building, support a greater number and variety of families and help to provide parents with a wider educational choice.

In order to do this, we need to demonstrate the interest in, and need for, the educational approach that we offer. We would be really grateful if you could take a few minutes to fill in the sections of our online questionnaire that are relevant to you. Please note that it doesn't matter if you have already passed a decision point that means your child will not attend the school - if you would have considered the Family School, if it had been non-fee-paying for example, then your support will be most welcome. Practical help (question 1c) that could be relevant might include marketing and PR, fund-raising, legal, or administrative expertise.

Additional comments/questions (question 4); here you could share a positive experience or write a testimonial for us to use, especially if you are already (or have been in the past) an active member of the school or attend our parent and child drop in sessions.  Please also feel free to use this section to ask us anything about our school or the free school funding initiative and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Obviously the information we receive will be used by us to support our bid for funding to the Department of Education, however the form does allow you to remain anonymous, so please don't feel obliged to fill in your personal details. It is the age range of potential children and postcode that is important to us at this stage so that we can demonstrate that enough families with appropriately aged children are interested in our school's ongoing success as well as proving the wider community's support.
